What our students think about the pep rallies

Pep rallies are a good way for our school to come together. They are full of fun activities and speeches that get our school pumped. There are a lot of different point of views when it comes to pep rallies. They are also impactful to students especially if it is engaging. Some people enjoy them, and some people would never even think of going. Also, there are things at pep rallies that everyone loves and there are people that think there should be more added. According to https://wootancommonsense pep rallies increase schools’ spirit and sometimes they change how some students act the rest of the school year. This shows how impactful a pep rally can be.
Jaxon, a student at Hillgrove says, “pep rallies shouldn’t be mandatory because some people get overwhelmed with how loud and packed it is”. He suggests that we should have them on the football field or outside somewhere, so it is less overwhelming for some people. Another student, Bryson believes that “they should focus more on the students in pep rallies because everyone should get a chance to be involved”. Pep rallies do usually have the more popular people involved in them, which is cool, but it would be interesting if there were other students that could volunteer to be in the pep rallies. Another idea that a student had that they think would make pep rallies more hyped is “they should have confetti and balloons that they shoot out towards the end of the pep rally” says Jaxon. I think that this is a cool idea that could add some more hype to the crowds. On the other hand, Madi, a student another student at Hillgrove says “they are a good way of bringing people together for a fun experience. This shows how even though there could be changes to the Pep Rallies, it still is something that a lot of people at Hillgrove Highschool enjoy.
Even though there is a lot that could be added to the pep rallies, they still are loved by our students at Hillgrove. There were some good ideas by our Hillgrove students that they could possibly act on in the future. It could even help to change people’s minds about coming to the pep rallies. Hillgrove tries to make everyone feel like they are heard when it comes to new ideas for the school. These will help to make the pep rallies in our school as fun and enjoyable as possible. Overall, our school pep rallies are exciting and a fun experience where students can come together and learn new things.
