To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You is a 2020 American teen romantic comedy film. The film is a sequel to To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. The film was released on February 12, 2020 exclusively on Netflix, it is based on Jenny Han’s 2015 novel P.S. I Still Love You. This movie has teens on their feet. The film stars Lana Condor, who plays Lara Jean, and Noah Centineo, who plays Peter Kavinsky, Lara Jean’s boyfriend.
Teens love this movie, that they even want a third film to come out. They believe that the second movie can not just end like it did. Karen Garcia-Cano, a freshmen at Hillgrove High School, says, “The movie was great, I loved every bit of it. There should definitely be a part three, I just feel like the second movie should not be the end. There is something missing and maybe the third movie will do it.” Teens have enjoyed it so much that they have watched it more than one time. Leslie Arellano, a Junior at Sprayberry High School, claims, “ I love it so much, I really hope there is a third movie. I’ve watched it twice, but I don’t think that it should end there.” Therefore, if the first and second movie was a huge thing, maybe the third would be even better.
The most favorite part of the movie that teens absolutely love was when Peter went to go find Lara Jean while it was snowing. Peter knowing that Lara Jean does not like to drive while it is snowing, he went to make sure she was okay and to drive her home. Karen Garcia-Cano states, “I absolutely loved the part where Peter went to go look for Lara Jean, it was so cute. It showed how even though they weren’t on the best terms, he went to go look for her, that shows how important she is to him.” Karen is not the only one that loves that scene. Leslie Arellano explains, “ The best part of the movie was obviously the part where Peter went to go look for Lara Jean while it was snowing. In the beginning she wanted to drive but Peter was scared that she was going to wreck the car, but Lara Jean knows how to drive but the only thing she does not like is to drive while it is snowing. So for Peter to go look for her while it was snowing, knowing that she doesn't like to drive while it is snowing, shows how he listened to her from the very beginning. It made him look very gentleman-like because of how he put her first and not himself.”
Overall, the movie To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You was definitely a favorite.
