Ever heard an apple a day keeps the doctors away? What about having or hanging with a pet? Most people when they think of having a pet is the allergies that follow with it but in fact that is not the case at all. Having a pet growing up as a child can prevent you from getting allergies and also helps kids develop stronger immune systems. Having a pet can not only just help you with allergies but as physically and emotionally. Talking to Tyler and Izabell, who grew up with pets all their life, Izabell said, “When I'm having a bad day all I need is my dog and I instantly get happy and they make me feel better.” When someone is having a bad day all they want or need to to be comforted by someone or something to make them feel better and wanted. A pet has unconditional love for you and no matter what will always be there to love and comfort someone.
Having a pet can help you physically and be a big physical health balance. Most animal needs exercise for them to stay healthy and get their energy out. Most people don't see a reason to get out and get active but if you have a person and someone that motivates you, you seem to want to try and workout. Most pets loves to go running/jogging, walking, hiking, swimming, obstacle courses, and fetch. This exercise can help relieve stress and any type of feeling your body might be going through at the moment.
Ever been in a conversation you just can't seem to break the ice, actually dogs can be tat icebreaker for you. Some people don't know where to start the conversation or what they have in common but if one has a pet often you can start a conversation based off your pet. Dogs help you improve your people skills and communication because they as themselves love people and love to meet new people and get their attention. Talking to Chandler, who was really had with people skills, he said, “ I would have never met my girlfriend of my dog never got out. She was the one who caught him down the street and brought him back and made us start up a conversation.” If a pet gets lost or someone comes towards your pet, your pet instantly wants to see who it is, meet them and be there friend and you have choice but to respond and talk to them.
