Technology has come a long way. It was even used back in the Roman times. Of course, since then, it has been made to fit one room. Technology is used every day, whether it is used for contacting friends, playing games, or doing work for the man in a cubicle. According to digitaltechnologieshub.edu.au, current digital systems such as computers, smartphones, tablets and laptops have evolved over time. The typewriter was replaced by digital systems such as a computer and word processing software. Many pieces of technology have evolved over time. The fact that people way back when did so many huge things and did not have modern technology is insane. Today, people could never do what they did without technology. People rely on it for so many things. Collin Lord, a senior at Hillgrove High School, says, “They had unlimited time, I have to spend my time doing math homework and other things, while they had the thought of, I need to build a house, so they would build a house. I don’t have time to build a house I have homework.” Time has a big impact on history.
Technology comes with many perks. It is very useful in a person's everyday life. Wes Kline, a sophomore at Hillgrove High School, says, “I rely on technology for almost everything, and now that school is online, I use it a lot. It is very rare to see people not using technology.” Most people use smartphones as their main device. It helps them do daily deeds, whether that is to keep a log of what they eat and how many calories they consume in a day, setting reminders for things, or just communicating. According to digitaltechnologieshub.edu.au, “Telephones have evolved over time into versions that are portable such as mobile phones and, more recently, smart phones.” Phones are used for almost everything in today's world.
Technology has most definitely evolved for vehicles and transportation methods. According to accessmagazines.org, “New technologies are transforming the way we plan, design, build, and operate transportation systems. Transport agencies use them to count traffic, detect crashes, collect tolls and fares, and manage transit operations and traffic signal systems.” Technology for transportation has evolved so much since the horses. Car technology has definitely made things safer as newer models come out. Payton Kunkel, a sophomore at Hillgrove High School, says, “Cars have always been about convenience, in a sort of advancement race between companies. Today, it focuses on safety, with fewer fatalities in accidents, and also making driving easier as a whole.” To think that technology has come this far is outstanding. People have things like the internet, where they can shop, and find sources for school projects and work, as well as images and news. Technology is a necessity most people use. It has been a part of people's daily lives ever since it came out. It is only going to evolve more as the world progresses.
