One major aspect of the Super Bowl is the HalfTime Show, in which a singer or musical artist would perform in the halfway intermission of the Super Bowl. These performances are normally very spectacular and ostentatious.
This year’s halftime show performance will be done by The Weeknd. The Weekend is a musical artist that has made songs such as “Blinding Lights” and “Earned It”. The Weekend has had an exceptional 2020 music wise. After Hours, fourth studio album, has amassed 221 million streams. As well as sold 275,000 pure copies as a full album. Blinding Lights has been the most played song of 2020. The song has over 340 million views on YouTube. The song has many qualities that make it appealing. Christian Howell, a student, says, “The song is very upbeat and has an 80’s style sound.”
