Man Pushes Woman Onto Subway Tracks

    A man from Crown Heights, Brooklyn was in a subway station on Saturday and around 8 p.m he decided to push a woman onto the Brooklyn subway tracks. He did not even know the woman so they were complete strangers. The police said he had no reason to attack her, he just chose an innocent person waiting for the subway. Statistics show every day that someone is attacked by a random stranger.

    Some people think violent actions towards strangers are really sad and demonic. Alexsis Boles, of Temple, GA, explained, “The first word that comes to my mind is evil.” Boles went on to explain, “Since the first word that came to my mind was evil, I believe he did it because he was demonically influenced because to me his intent was to kill an innocent person.” Boles continued to say, “The world is corrupt because satan knows he has only a little time left.”

    Many people say this incident makes them angry because he wanted to take a life away that matters. 17 year-old Summer Smith stated, “It makes me angry. People are so rude, and don’t care about anything. Life is so valuable and it’s an honor, but people don’t see it like that.” Smith stated, “ People take life for granted. It is an honor. People easily take lives, and push people into the subway tracks, with no thought or care. Violence is the answer people choose and it is wrong.” Perry explained, “I can only hope, pray, and have faith that violence will decrease.”

    Some people think violence will get better while others think it will get worse. Many people express how innocent people being hurt makes them upset. 46 year-old Dedric Perry explained, “It could possibly decrease with time. However, we are living in the last days where biblically it is predicted to get worse.” Perry went on to say, “It saddens me to hear of another senseless crime that another innocent individual has to suffer.” 

    Violence happens every day and no matter how hard the authorities try to stop it, people always find a way to make violence. Violence is always sad and can leave families heartbroken and upset. Violence can also bring people together and make people aware of dangerous people and their surroundings. Thankfully in this case the woman was not killed but left with bruises and cuts. They guy was arrested and charged with attempted assault.
