Post Malone is known for his most famous song Congratulations, but if you follow him closely you may know that he just released a new album called Hollywood’s Bleeding. While some people may consider his music to be one genre or another, 10th grader, Tristan Pittman, says that, “It’s indifferent,” And that when it comes to his music he, “Can’t expect anything.”
People like Savannah Croft, a junior at Hillgrove, only like certain songs. “I really only like Goodbyes,” said Croft. When talking to Savannah, she seemed to favor Post Malone’s first album Stoney over any of his other albums. When talking about Hollywood’s Bleeding, Croft said, “I think there are too many collabs,” which would make sense since there are seven collaborations on the seventeen track album. Other people like Hillgrove junior, Trey Grindstaff, love the new album and think that the collaborations were unique. “I like that he brought back Ozzy Ozbourne,” Grindstaff explained. When describing the album, he said, “It’s something you can listen to and not feel depressed,” which stands true for some of his songs. Post Malone makes a wide variety of songs from songs about partying and being incredible to songs about not being enough for someone. Whether someone likes Post Malone or not, they will almost always hear him on the radio. Croft says it is because, “People just find his songs catchy.” Pittman is a big fan of the rapidly growing artist and says that no matter what he puts out, “I can just expect that it’ll make its way to my playlist.” Post Malone will be going on tour with artists such as Swae Lee and Tyla Yaweh, starting September 14th and will be coming to the State Farm Arena on October 18th. If anyone wants to listen to Post Malone’s new album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, it is out on Spotify, iTunes, Youtube, and all other platforms now. |
