A Madea Family Funeral

Tyler Perry originated from a strained environment with his father being abusive and entering depression from it. He even found himself being homeless at several points in his life. After being inspired to write, he was motivated to kickstart his future by writing musicals and plays that depicted from personal letters he wrote to himself. The Madea character made her first appearance in his prolific play, I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Madea prospered ever since. Tyler Perry, however, has recently decided that he is adamant about canceling this fictional figure after years of success.
Mayn Jackson is a true Madea fan making sure she watched all movies. “They are basically all of my favorites starting with the Halloween movie to the rest. I looked forward to them.” Ever since the first Madea appearance, her instincts knew the movies would take off. Mayn’s hunch for the cancellation of Madea is based on not having any fresh ideas. The idea of receiving hostile comments about playing a female role is definitely contingent, but Mayn encourages him to proceed at what he is gifted in, even if it means concluding a popular character. “He needs to do him because he made money and was being funny at the same time. He has the talent of being funny, so he could still make comedy movies.” Mayn is against the decision of canceling Madea. “Her movies were incredibly prolific and had a significant size of an audience.”
Olyne Stamos, on the other hand, is not so crazy about Madea. “She is alright. I personally say Eddie Murphy is funnier. In some movies Madea is over-dramatic and she tries too hard.” He predicts A Madea Family Funeral will not be the same as it is now though. “I think Tyler Perry will purposely make it boring so people will not be upset that it is ending.” With Madea becoming such an immense character, it is hard to believe that she will be completely wiped out from t.v. Even though she is concluding, the supporting cast may not disappear. “Her name will probably be brought up a lot, since he would not want to completely get rid of her. I think Tyler Perry will make another movie to include those characters. He could possibly make them the main stars.” Olyne supports the idea to cancel Madea in hopes for a newer and better idea.
Mason Bates is yet another fan of Madea. Mason analyzed the purpose for this role being the kind of stuff Tyler Perry was surrounded with. “I would say it is because he grew up around harshness and struggles. I know he had a bad childhood, so he probably let his feelings out by acting it out.” Mason can see some concerns with future movies without Madea. “The characters may end up trying to hard to be funny like Madea was. Also, they could try to take her place as a tough ghetto person, but that would not flow as well.” Mason does not agree with this cancellation. The audience is at risk for decreasing. “She was such a huge success and actually enjoyable. I feel like he could lose some audience members, but for the most part people would want to see what else he comes up with. Personally I would continue to support him.”
The finale for Madea is scheduled for March 1st, 2019. Currently there is a farewell play tour going on. People around the world prepare to see the last of Madea.
