Music is listened to by many and enjoyed by all but can music have an bad effect on our brain based on many studies that I talk about later showing how music does not negatively effect your brain and he even help you focuses.
Hillgrove Braxton Powell says “ listing to music help focuses and pat attention in class I see hoe listing to music can have a negative effect but I fell as long as it’s not to loud and you don’t listen to it all day it will only be positive for you in my opinion” Braxton’s statement being backed up by this study. Studies have shown that music produces several positive effects on a human's body and brain. Music activates both the left and right brain at the same time, and the activation of both hemispheres can maximize learning and improve memory. This studies along with many others show that listing to music can have a positive effect for many people.
Many still seem to think music dose not have any positive effects and just bad ones as Hillgrove student olllie Bagley said “ I think music just distracts you and causes you to be stressed or sad based on what your listing to” as this study backs up ollies statement There are studies that show, however, that music can impact our mood long-term, increasing depression or anxiety. Certain songs, certain lyrics, certain genres of music are more likely to intensify depression or anxiety, sometimes as much or more as outside stressors and environmental factors. This study basically say that the type of music you listen to can drastically effect your mood and how you act and feel and can cause you to be distracted.
In all as the research and interviews show music can be used to help you focuses and allow you to be in a better mood and can also affect you mood in a negative way and cause you to have anxiety.
