Only a few weeks away from Halloween and most of us cannot wait to scare the living crap of everybody you know. Halloween is a spooky holiday in which at night you get to go trick-or-tricking, meaning you get to walk around your neighborhood and knock on your neighborhood's house for free candy! Halloween is also celebrated with many events such as pranks, haunted houses or mansions, and parties with costumes.
Believe it or not, but most people are scared of attending any Halloween events because many might feel like they are in danger throughout the day. Therefore, they do not like to attend any events and prefer to stay at home knowing they are safe. Carly Thomas, a sophomore at Allatoona high school, claims, no, “I would not ever attend any Halloween events because I get paranoid really quick so if I was to ever attend one I would feel very uncomfortable and I would feel as if someone was to be following me.” Halloween is a night full of jump scares and spooky events that many people do not like either because they do not like getting scared or they are the people to get anxiety really quick over the small things.
Other people that love Halloween love to dress up as anything they wish and have fun decorating their houses with scary things such as skeletons, pumpkin, rip signs, spider webs, etc. These people may also like to attend events that might frighten them such as haunted houses or escape rooms with many jump scares. Izzy Chavez, a Sophomore at Hillgrove High School, states. “Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year. My favorite part of the day is the night because I always go to a haunted house with my family and friends and it's always fun to see their reactions.” Many people react differently when it comes to scary events some might not get frightened and others might.
Halloween events are there for most of all just entertainment and to have memories of fun times with family and friends. Halloween is a day with many good memories that many people have with family and friends and therefore many people enjoy having a spooky time and a fun Halloween night. Halloween will forever be one of the most entertaining holidays that many people enjoy and have a really fun time celebrating it until the end.
