When we are tired, we’re more likely to be less motivated and sometimes incapable of paying attention and getting the full learning experience school try to give us in a day. When we have a lack of sleep and don’t sleep as much as usual, we are more irritable, slow-moving, don’t want to do work, less attentive and have zero-to no- energy. According to the “Community Literacy”, "Studies have suggested that insufficient sleep, increased frequency of short-term sleep, and going to sleep late and getting up early affect the learning capacity, academic performance, and neurobehavioral functions." This shows how it is scientifically proven that if enough sleep isn’t met, behavioral changes happen. Staying up all night to study for a test is also not a good idea because it hurts more that it help. According to the “National Library of Medicine”, "stress from lack of sleep causes poor school performance.” This means that staying up and study, will cause more stress and won’t cause you to not be be able to do your peak performance like you planned to do. According to Tyler Kirkland, “I would say if I went to sleep at 10:00 and woke up at 7:30 without waking up in the middle of the night I would be the best person ever.” You’re sleep affects your mood, education, and your body. If you are tired you are un-motivated to do tasks and if you get the right amount of sleep every night then your body will be healthier and allow you to fully reset, your grades will have an astonishing increase and you will do better on tests. People want to have better performances on tests, and no-one wants to be a cranky, angry, person all the time. Sleep!!
