Impeachment hearings have caused an uproar between Democrats and Republicans. Some people are angry and some people are very happy. The way people feel really depends on who they like and do not like. Many opinions are going around, such as “Trump did things he should not have done as president,” and then some people say he did absolutely nothing wrong. Many people are worried about the state of the country because of everything going on and how divided we are.
57 year- old, Terry McBurnett, stated, “ I just think we should be focusing on other things for our country. Focus on what has been done and what needs to be done for the sake of our country.” McBunett went on to express, “ I feel like since day one, the democrats were looking for things to get Trump for, they wanted to see him fall just because they did not win the election. It is just really not fair for him and his family after all they did for our country, after all they truly sacrificed for us.”
Many people just want the country to be how it once was, loving and respectful. Elvie Sanders of Dallas, GA, stated, “I just want us to focus on the country and stop being so critical on the president when he has not really done anything wrong. Sanders stated, “ I just want us to love, be unified again and be who the Lord has called us to be as a country.”
Some people just think impeachment is not the answer and that it will cause more anger and division in the country. Angela McBurnett of Powder Springs, GA, sated, “ I just do not understand why impeachment seems to be the top priority at this point, I mean the term will be over soon. I just feel like they are wasting time to stop Trump from doing anything to benefit our country.” McBunett went on to say, “ I am just tired of all the craziness, and I truly do not think he should be impeached. At least just let him finish this term.”
During the impeachment hearings, so many things can happen. The hearings can sway people's opinions causing it to get more nerve wracking. Many people think there will be different outcomes, but the way it is looking right now, he could very well be impeached. Just stay true to your opinion and know the facts and evidence of where you stand.
