Health, fitness, dieting, activity, are all things people should create as a standard for their life. Such factors can of course physically, but also mentally affect you and your life. Each is as important as the other and is great for anyone and everyone. 3 students, give slight insight on a typical Grove student, and how they sit on such a topic.
Nolan, a former lacrosse player, claims cardio is bad. He is not an athlete, but he does lift 6 days a week and has a say in diets, including his own. “I just eat anything. Everything as much as possible.” he spoke. Nolan lifts because it is fun and cool but does not feel the same for the Hillgrove weight training class. “It’s terrible. Their workouts are terrible, and they only let you work out for like 15 minutes in class and stupid workouts.". About dieting, he says, “Um, you don’t gotta do it. I mean like you can do it if you want, it just depends on your goals.”
Emily, is a lacrosse player, and claims that people workout to get skinny and for self-love. “I don’t know. Good enough to run a mile.” She says about her goals after high school. She had a word on daily activity as well. She thinks school should have a fitness course that is required for everyone. “I think they should because everyone needs some type of fitness. Its literally like everyone gets 60 minutes a day.” She spoke. When it comes to dieting, Emily didn’t worry as much about it. Emily eats one meal daily. “One. Dinner.”, She spoke. “Healthy, um carrots, cucumbers, um, strawberries. And unhealthy? Chips ice cream and burgers. Yes, I do eat all of those.” She later quoted. As stated earlier, Emily plays lacrosse, and she claims she has pulled her hip flexor, pulled her meniscus, and sprained her ankle. She doesn’t get much sleep either. “Um, on weekdays, I get about 4, and on weekends, I get about 3 hours.” She talked about her sleep.
Lauren is a volleyball player. Lauren says she works out or does some type of activity 7 days a week, at least an hour a day. “Free time and create time because it's fun. I skip doing homework.”, she says about her active life. Lauren had a negative opinion on the Hillgrove weight room. She said, “Um it smells a lot worse in the Hillgrove weight room, than compared to a public gym. A lot more testosterone, definitely in the Hillgrove weight room as well.”, She then says, “I guess make it like anyone can join, and not just athletes.” Lauren also says, “Food is fuel.” and that athletes should take lifting and diets more seriously than others. “Sometimes it's hard, but it pays off in the end.” she quotes.
So, considering all of the answers given, and new information and insight given about this, I and any readers, can take away a lot of thing from this. With this information being taken, you can somewhat get an idea of how diets, sleep, fitness, affect a person. Fitness and diets are a very important part of your health, and people should consider them and handle them more seriously.
