With a few days to go until the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is released, there are lots of opportunities that this show can grasp. Marvel has always delivered when it comes to films, and it will not be a surprise if this show is a hit. According to Polygon.com, “One thing that is clear, is that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will include lots of action.” Marvel always gives action in their movies and just did recently with their latest show, WandaVision. Nathan McLean, a sophomore at Dominion Christain School, says, “Marvel has done great for fight scenes in the past, Captain America Civil war has good scenes. I think that Marvel will hit it out of the ball park.” It is known that this studio delivers on amazing movies. According to slashfilm.com, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier looks like a series tailor-made for those craving a return to Marvel blockbuster action.” The trailer definitely showed us that Marvel is working hard to entertain their fans.
Something that may be new to some people are characters. There are many hopes that some characters from old movies will appear in the show. Skyler Gustafson, a sophomore at Hillgrove High School, says, “Old Captain America would be nice to see in the series, see how they use him.” If we see old Captain America return, that would do a lot for the story. According to Ploygon.com, “The trailer gives us a brief preview of some of the characters that will likely make up villains throughout the series, but it’s still not exactly clear what they’re after.” Something that seems interesting is that Baron Zemo is returning, after he first appeared in Captain America: Civil War. He definitely is not a villain to dispose of. There is more development in him to use. He will make a good villain in this show.
People are looking forward to this series, and the trailer did a lot to help Marvel out. The characters who did not get much screen time are finally getting it. Jack Arrington, a sophomore at Hillgrove High School, says, “I would hope to see Bucky, I think more screen time with him would help, and it shows his recovery with black panther, I would really like to see his back story, his character.” The Falcon and Winter Soldier are a great combo due to them being friends with Captain America, and both of them have interesting fighting skills. Marvel will definitely deliver with this show, and that could possibly mean a bright future for Marvel shows.
