The End of a Decade

There are only a few weeks left of 2019, which means this decade will soon be coming to an end. In the past ten years or so, many things have changed when it comes to politics, technology, clothing, and everything in between. Many people have grown and learned throughout this time period.
During the 2010’s, it was the time of many kids’ childhood, which brought all kinds of different toys and tv shows into existence. Along with that, it is also when many kids grew up and became adults. Michael Faress says, “This time brought me an amazing childhood and I feel thankful for that and I feel that I’m attracted to this decade.” Being able to grow up in this time is something that will stick with all kids throughout their teens and adult life. It is always really hard to let go of something that has shaped an entire generation. Even though letting go is hard, staying positive and open minded for what will come next is very important. Many people will leave a lot of things with the 2010’s and have a lot of memories that happened in this time, but there is the next tenyears to make even more!
Brendan Nolley states, “ I’m very excited to see what we will be able to accomplish in the next decade because of how much has happened these past few years, there’s so much more to come.” The 2010’s have had so many accomplishments, too many to list. So much more can come in the next few years, things that may not even be in people's thoughts right now. Dylan Decamp says, “This time period has taught me so much, it’s taught me to grow up and chase my goals because there's so much out in the world.” Being surrounded by everything that has been created and all the trends that boomed in the past ten years can really shape a person. There have been so many inspiring people who speak out, and all the technology in schools.
This decade will be very missed. So much came from this time, and all the memories will stay with everyone forever. Now it is time to grow even more in this new and fresh decade and everyone should go in with an open mind to make it even better than the last decade.
