The 2020 elections are right around the corner and two titans are emerging to claim victory. First, the current president, Donald J. Trump, and second, the former mayor of New York City, Michael R. Bloomberg, but who has the best chance of winning?
Jake stated, “I think Trump’s chances of winning are going to be high. I mean, he has a lot of experience leading this nation, not that I really support him.” Jake followed up with, “His worst characteristic, in my opinion, is his impulsiveness or his stubbornness. He likes to say things without thinking and he won’t give up when he is clearly beaten.” Jake stated, “I definitely think that him being the previous leader will affect his chances, but it depends on who is voting.” Jake then stated, “People will definitely bring up the same things as last year. It's almost like a given.”
Mason stated, “I think Bloomerg has a pretty good chance of winning this election. He has experience leading a nation that is in economic and social trouble.” Mason then stated, “I didn’t realize that he was accused of sexual harassment, but that will probably affect the way people view him.” Mason also stated, “I think his best characteristic is his experience leading people who need help. He knows what to do if we have an economic collapse, or that is what he says.” Mason then stated, “I think his worst characteristic is that he has too many high hopes for our country, and I think that will give him tunnel vision.”
Kristine stated, “I think that Trump has the biggest chance of winning just because of how much more recognized he is, and also because he has more experience leading a bigger group of people than just a city’s population.” Kristine then stated, “I think that Trump is the best fit for the office between the two because, like I stated in my previous statement, he has more experience leading a bigger group of people. Also more people know who he is and what he did.” Kristine also stated, “If we are talking about dealing with an economic reform and disaster, I would say Bloomberg, just because he was the mayor post 911, and he helped to fix and stabilize the economy. But Trump definitely has more experience as a national leader because he is the president.” Kristine also stated, “I think Trump has the better campaign slogan because the phrase ‘Keep America Great’ motivates people while Bloomberg’s slogan ‘Mike Will Get It Done’ is a little edgy.”
Trump or Bloomberg, who knows which one will win. It could be Trump or it could be Bloomberg, or it could be someone else.
