On June 20, 2022, Beyonce released the lead single from the new album called “Break My Soul”. The 16-track album is a blend of modern and classic house music. Beyonce’s has an abundance number of fans that support her music and have been listening to her for years, but this album brings a different feel and new genre that she isn’t used to doing. Many of her albums have inspired multiple generations and has displayed women empowerment. “Her music is inspirational and gives people hope to persevere and to be strong”. Reina Chico said. Beyonce has always put out great music that really shows her amazing talents.
As it pertains to her new single that was released before the album “Break My Soul” “It has a different vibe but it’s a good song and it brought my attention to the album and made people want to listen to it”. Says Tia Byrd. The music that she produces is normally focusing on her vocals but, this album takes a turn and shows even more of how she can be versatile and attract different audiences to learn to enjoy Beyonce and everyone is included. This album has her fans questioning whether the album is good because everyone is used to what she produces and this new Beyonce is bring something different to the table. “All of her music is good, but this new album isn’t the best” Reina Chico says.
Beyonce doesn’t produce at a consistent rate so was the album worth the wait? “The last time I remember Beyonce dropping is in elementary school, but I get it because hard work takes time” Bassan Sissoko said. Beyonce is a mostly R&B artist so for her to drop something so different and switch up her flow is a good thing and should be appreciated.
