Fractured Movie

Fractured is a psychological thriller movie that came out on October 11, 2019, on Netflix. The movie starts with a family with one child in the car driving home from Thanksgiving dinner, The person driving is Ray (the father) and sitting alongside him is his wife, Joanne, while their child Peri that is in the backseat.So, A few hours passed by Ray feels like something suspicious is going on in the hospital. Once he realizes that everything goes downhill from then.
The film has many disturbing scenes that include gore and explicit words. In the movie, when Ray wanted to know where his wife and daughter was at and why he had not seen them for a long time.there is and advised caution because of some of the explicit content that can be seen in the movie including: gore, language, etc."In the end when he found out what happened to his family he blacks out and starts to hallucinate and does nott know what is true and what is not. Younger children should watch with adult supervision because the movie is very complex and certain scenes show violence and bloodshed between characters.
Many people can understand the problems Ray has to face, for example a student at Hillgrove Highschool, Ciraye Mitchell says “Problems that certain characters face is mental illness and having to go through serious issues that take a toll on someone’s life.” She continues “I think it affects viewers in a way where people can see that there are actual people in this world that act like Ray and it is kind of sad and crazy and that those people need a lot of help, love, and so much care.” It is not just Ray that has mental problems, it is a lot of people in the world that have them too, and most of the time the trauma they have faced affects them and causes them to act out. Ciraye Mitchell continues “My opinion about the ending is that I felt it was a little bit confusing, but I do like how the ending showed basically how people struggle with telling what is real and what is not.”
Overall, the movie has many pros and cons. According to another student at Hillgrove, Maya smith states “At first I was like ok it’s kind of boring and repetitive because the man didn’t find his wife or child but then at the end it was crazy.” She continues “I Like the scene in the end when the guy had the dead people in his car because it shows that he was mentally not there and was messed up in the head. The film Fractured is highly recommended because of the plot twist and it keeps viewers wondering what is going to happen next.
