Alabama played Louisiana State University on November 9, of 2019 at 3:30 p.m with a shocking game. For most of the game, LSU was crushing Alabama with multiple touchdowns ahead. Alabama came back at the end, but still could not beat the LSU tigers. Some Alabama fans said the game was not fair because some bad plays were called, but were not reversed.
Some Alabama fans still felt good about the game even though they did not win. Grant Suttle, a junior of Hillgrove High School, stated, “I feel good about the game, I mean Alabama should have won, but it was a tough game. LSU played good, but if Alabama had two more minutes left we would have won.” Suttle went on to say, “ Alabama played good in the fourth quarter and LSU was starting to fold on defense and offense.”
A lot of Georgia Bulldog fans were happy that Alabama lost because Alabama had been undefeated all season, they were also happy because they have family members who like Alabama, and they like to smack talk. Jennifer Marlowe, of Rockmart, GA, said, “I was really happy that Alabama lost because my husband is a big Alabama fan and is always talking smack.” Marlowe continued to explain, “Anyone can be beat and in this case it was Alabama, which made me happy.”
Most Alabama fans were upset but said they will just move on, continue the season and end strong with only one loss. Jason Marlowe, of Yorkville, GA, said, “I wish we would have won and yes I’m upset, but we must just go on and win the rest.” Marlowe explained, “That will be the only game we will lose this season because we will work on our flaws. We can not let anyone else beat us. and we will not.”
Many people watched the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide battle it out. They had an audience of many different fans from different teams, such as Georgia, Alabama, LSU, and so many others. A lot of predictions were made that LSU would win, which they did. Some people even said and explained that Alabama was not ready to play LSU, because they did not play hard teams meaning they had played lower ranked teams this season. Although in the fourth quarter Alabama stepped it up and came back, they could not hang with the LSU tigers. Both teams as a whole played a good game ending the game with a score of 46-41 making it a close game.
