An American child’s dream is to watch all their favorite movies and tv shows in one place. A cheap streaming service of childhood memories, what’s better than that? Having an app with classic Disney channel materials and not having to worry about kids watching inappropriate things. The competition with Netflix and Hulu has been a big deal in the entertainment industry. Disney Plus has a different audience: children, family, and friends.
Old time legendary movies as a child will stick ,it is statistics. Walter Bates states, “I prefer Disney Plus because it has a lot of great movies like Lion King and shows like Good Luck Charlie”. People will always remember what they watched as kids and what characters and heros that stuck out to them. Bates explains, “Disney plus came out at a perfect time around thanksgiving and Christmas of 2019 everyone was on it for the holidays, great Christmas get together”. Disney plus targeted the audience at a perfect time.
The convenience of having Disney shows at figure tips. Darius Bonner argues “ I like Disney Plus because I can watch whatever movie or show comes to mind whenever inside of waiting on it on tv”. Some people like old Disney some like new Disney. Bonner explains ,“ Disney Plus puts old Disney and new Disney together for everyone to enjoy”. Production of Disney Plus put everyone together in one app one purpose childhood entertainment.
Disney just started and it is booming. Jalen Hendrix states, “ Disney plus probably makes over 100 million”. How about Disney Plus already made from $1.8 billion to $3.8 Billion. Hendrix explains ,“ I think Disney Plus has enough potential to go up and get bigger than Hulu and Netflix”. Meaning this industry is skyrocketing.

The fact that Disney Plus cut the price in half per month, 6.99 per month for Disney Plus. Netflix price is 9.99, Hulu price is 12.99. Disney plus has made money off of old movies the audience still wants to watch. Disney has expanded around the globe and is available in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand. Disney Plus will launch in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. Disney has a good purpose and idea so why not?
